What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
It's probably industry standard. Can't complain especially because it is a relaxed work place in general
Graduate, Melbourne
As a grad, my pay is quite good and I'm very satisfied with it, however I am aware that as I move into a permanent role, L'Oreal doesn't seem to be paying according to market for similar roles. For example, according to a few sites like Glassdoor, Jora, Seek and Indeed, the average Brand Manager in Australia earns between 100 and 120k per year. At L'Oreal, the average is around 80-90k, according to Glassdoor. This disparity is a little disappointing, given how demanding some of the Brand Manager roles are. As a grad, I'm unaware of how role-specific bonuses work, so I'm unable to comment on those.

It's fine for now as a grad - pretty standard with the market/industry pay isn't great at loreal through internal promotions which is why everyone always leaves after a few years and comes back (better pay increase when u come from external)

They all seem great, but at the end of the day the salary we are offered is not competitive or liveable
Graduate, Melbourne
Pay is perhaps less competitive than other companies, however this is largely offset by being an enjoyable place to work at.

Is about average within the industry

Quite low for graduates

Bonuses are great at the company, and the starting salary is not too bad. However from what I have seen the progression in terms of salary is not amazing and is something that is well known about L'oreal

Competitive for the level we are at, no complaints. The total package is good.
Graduate, Melbourne
The pay is similar to the industry standard, however more intensive roles will be paid the same as all other grad rotations at the beginning. As for roles after I am not sure on how the pay is. Bonuses are not given to grads in their first year which can be a bit disappointing.
Graduate, Melbourne
It is not competitive at a grad level but decent enough.

Good for a graduate program!

Pay should be higher for the workload that is expected.

I'm not too familar with the process of bonuses at the moment so I can't comment on this. In regards to pay, I'm satisfied with it as it meets the industry standards. I don't feel that it I'm disappointed or deterred by the pay at the moment.
