Join Nielsen's dynamic team in Bangalore to analyze data and ensure quality control in media operations.

Your role

Key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Ensure data integrity and validity through quality controls in TAM, Digital, and Streaming operations.
  • Perform data analyses to understand panelist behavior and create quality control reports.
  • Monitor and analyze metrics and KPIs for Television Audience Measurement products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and manage communication with local and cross-functional departments.
  • Investigate operational issues, recommend solutions, and coordinate panel updates.
  • Validate and monitor production alerts and ensure timely escalation to avoid data impacts.
  • Conduct daily quality control before releasing streaming data for multiple countries.
  • Classify web domains, mobile apps, and streaming domains for digital classification products.
  • Support and train junior team members and proactively identify data quality risks.

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A university degree, preferably in statistics, math, sociology, or economy.
  • 6 months to 2 years of experience, preferably in operations roles.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in data analysis within market research, finance, or insurance.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including formulas and pivot tables.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with high energy and flexibility.
  • Team player skills and experience in a matrix management environment.
  • Understanding of web domains, mobile apps, and streaming data is advantageous.
