The candidate is responsible to provide support to the Manager of Treasury and Cash Management
Key Accountabilities & Performance Measures
- Assist in the monitor and review of the reconciliation of the sub-ledger to the general ledger.
- These include bank reconciliations, control account maintenance, and reconciliation administration.
- Reconciling items are expected to be cleared on regular basis.
- Maintain processes to ensure that processes surrounding sub-ledgers are appropriate for proper transfer into the general ledger.
General Accounting
- Provide support to supervisor to raise journal vouchers for the entire treasury and cash management-related entries.
Other ad-hoc/regulatory activities deemed necessary to support Finance
- As and when required, the candidate may be required to provide support to other functions within the Finance division. Such requests would be initially assessed for their appropriateness by the management and would be of a nature such that no unreasonable demands are made of the candidate, and with expectations that are reasonable given the circumstances.
Qualification and Experience
- Minimum degree level, preferably in Accounting or Finance
- Year 3 internship
- CGPA above 3.0
- Able to read, write and speak in English
- Expected intern duration for minimum 3 months up to 6 months.
